We (il Troubadore) had the pleasure of being interviewed by Dave Lindquist of the Indianapolis Star.  The interview was videotaped as were several of our tunes though only one, "Sacred Land" (written by Robert and me), is a part of the video.  Here's the link to it:

1. il Troubadore
Indy’s 16th century rock band plays music from over 20 countries and sings in 13 languages. It has a strong Middle Eastern influence and is often accompanied by belly dancers.

Notes:
Another tune intended for our Moon Song suite but which ended up with an extended improv section making it more suitable for belly dancing. Zweena bint Asya and Troupe Taleeba first danced to the short version with il Troubadore last year (December 15, 2005) at Spoons/Mitchell Books in Fort Wayne. This one can also be extended indefinitely and we're getting ideas on how to incorporate Hindustani vocal improvisation (Sargam) throughout the piece while playing it.
